Funny, no? :P
Au Revoir!
Do take note that this will be my new official blog!
*you don't have to re-link me if laziness is creeping in - just leave the link as it is because the link's already written here! :)
But do come back here to visit once in awhile for umm ... boredom purposes? Hahaha!
Au Revoir, Vox!
I'm currently working on a new webpage/blog/whatever you call it on blogspot. Which means that I'll soon be ditching vox and start off with blogger. Muahahaha... Let's hope it's for the better. :D
*stay tuned!
Wah, I just realised that I actually have MANY things to update about - many events and pictures. But since tomorrow's Sejarah1&2, I shall put this aside first. Hah. And get back as soon as I can to flood my blog with pictures! WoOoHoOo!

This is what an uncle sends to his niece.
Hahaha! True story ok. My uncle sent me this comic-pic through an email MONTHS ago. Not bad eh? I have a very up-to-date and cool uncle. :P I'm literally counting down to 8pm already! Right now, it's officially 6more hours to go.
*tick-tock-tick-tock*
Just to boost the olympics spirit, here are the things that I will be doing before the opening starts.
-
Make a cup of super-duper kau iced milo
*trust me, it really does help to build up the excitement. Hahaha! Try making one! And let me know if it really worked.* -
Buy popcorns for myself (and for my loud sisters)
-
Eat ice-cream
*damn it man.. I was supposed to go on a diet* -
Wait infront of the tv and smile like an idiot :D
Happy watching, everyone!
Cheers! :)
*with milo ais*
*Did you know that Jiaven has specially posted up the manhunt&beautypageant pictures just for me? Super sweet of her! Thanks again, girl. :) Will post them up soon!

And all the ladies say, AMEN!
Exams have been going on and it won't end till the 15th August. If you were to ask me how's exam so far, I'd say.... that I'm very unprepared. And that naturally makes me VERY prepared to get my results. Sigh.. ANYWAY! Tomorrow's of course, the official opening of the Beijing Olympics 2008! Can't wait for the opening. :) I'm sure people all over the world will be tuning into their local tv channels/astro (if they have) at 8pm SHARP,SHARP, SHARP! Well, I'm certainly one of them!
Hmmmm.. maybe I should ask my dad to go get some snacks/popcorns for tomorrow. Why you say?
1. It builds up the Olympics spirit *angels singing*
2. It helps to keep my baby sisters quiet. Now that's something priceless!
So yeap! Popcorns that is. :P
I doubt that anyone will be studying tomorrow night. Crap! BM's on Saturday.
*Can't wait to go for ZCF's Church Dedication this sunday! Miss chilling with you beautiful people. :)

This is what I did on the night of the MTV ASIA AWARDS.
Hahaha! So that's the performance that I was talking about. My dad went to preach in a chuch called Shammah Sanctuary in Malacca and he suggested that Careen and I perform. We were quite reluctant to do so at first as we were literally unprepared for it. But after choosing the songs and some practices, we decided to just go ahead with it. :)
Overall, the performance went pretty well. Played some wrong chords - but no one knew. *winks* Hehehe...
After supper, we headed back to my ah-ma's house and quickly switched on the tv! We were back at around 1130pm+ so we had to watch the repeated one instead. Honestly, I'm glad I chose to go for a church service instead of staying at home watching the super over-promoted-and-overrated MAA.
The opening sucked. Wasn't impressive at all. The moshpitters were not loud enough. Too few award presenters. Those celebrities who went were the ones who was gonna get awarded. No fill-ins (for the celebrities' seats after they go on stage/backstage. Therefore it results to MANY empty cheap-red-chairs). Cameras were everywhere but didn't shoot well.
Argh...
I'm so super geram ar I tell you. I was complaining about all these things to Grace&Cy in school. I just don't get it - why can't they put in more effort?? Or maybe they did but it wasn't shown during the event. Sigh.. PLUS! The presenters had to present 2-3awards at one go. I mean, can't they invite more international atrists just for the award-presentation?? Those nominated ones weren't even there! Sigh... =.=
But despite of all those flaws, there were some catchy parts too.
For example: I enjoyed a couple of performances. And umm... And... Aiyo, I think that's all.
In conclusion to my above complaints, I'd like to sum it all up by saying that
it could've been better.
*oh, and did I say that the red-carpet sucked too? But the cameras used to take their pics were awesome. :)

coloured contact lens.
*care was IN my eyes :D
I had such a miserable time puttinng the lens into my eyes. I really salute those who wear contact lenses on a daily basis man. And as you can see in the picture, my eyes look teary. It took me about 10minutes just to put on ONE side. Unbelievable. And it took me another 5minutes to take that ONE side out.
It does look pretty cool wearing a coloured contact-lens. Might consider getting one just for fun. :P

THIS POST MAY LOOK LONG, BUT IT ISN'T. SO JUST READ.
Ssup, ppl? I'm finally back to water my dry blog. Thanks for your unfailing patience towards this blog of mine eventhough you always see the same old post appearing at the top. Wahahaha.. ANYWAY! Yesterday was the preliminary round for BeautyPageant & Manhunt in church. I came back from Malacca and reached KL at around 1:10pm. Wennt back home, had a quick lunch, and rushed off to church. Wouldn't wanna miss supporting my folks now, would I? :)
This year's competition is definitely much tighter as compared to last year's. I'm seriously still in shock to see so many HOT GUYS popping out from nowhere in my church. Wah, hot man.. *fanning* There were many pretty girls too! *wee-weeet!* Don't play play. And I'd like to congratulate Meling for getting through the finals!! See? I'm not that evil wan ok. I'll still support you till the end eventhough you're from VU. Haha! But I'll have to say that most of the hot guys are from either MINT or LU. No idea why, but that's just the way it is. *big smiles*
I'd also like to thank all those who took a step of bravery and decided to join the competition. It's really not easy, you know. Imagine standing in front of a crowd of almost 300++ with cameras shooting right in front of your face, and the judges looking straight at you - eyeball to eyeball. O.O
I'm so proud of my cellgroup members who took part. They were really sporting. The funniest moment was when Celestine walked out from the backstage when the hosts were still talking among themselves. Hahaha! Maybe it was embarrassing to him, but I think he did pretty well - in terms of leaving a good impression, you know what I'm saying? Hahaha! Well, at least he could still laugh about it. After the whole thing, he was laughing that incident off with the others saying that he had to MOON WALK back after realising that his turn was yet to come. Hahahaha! *rolling on the floor laughing*
And these are the people who did me proud!!
Regina, Eu Gin, Celestine, Daryl, Boon Hock, Ethan, Adrian, Alfred.
You guys did really well! Keep it up! :))
Will update the pics when I get them. I'm most probably stealing the pics from either Boon, Jiaven, or Grace. Hahahaha!
*is it necessary to write a WRITTEN BY ______ column at the end of an articles? - referring to today's English paper.
